Workshop Guidelines

To make sure everyone has a comfortable and enjoyable experience:

  • Please arrive on time to avoid interrupting the workshop and also so you don’t miss any key information at the start.
  • This is a small-group, discussion-friendly workshop, so participation and questions are always welcome (but never required).
  • We aim to keep things relaxed, respectful, and inclusive. Everyone is learning at their own pace, please be kind.
  • You’ll receive a take-home guide, so there’s no pressure to write everything down – just come ready to learn.
  • This workshop is designed for adults and older youth (12+ and accompanied by an adult) who have an interest in chicken keeping.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

We know life doesn’t always go according to plan, and sometimes things come up.

Cancellations made 14 or more days before the workshop will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made within 14 days of the workshop are non-refundable.

If something unexpected prevents you from attending, you have a couple of options:

You’re welcome to transfer your spot to a friend or family member – just let us know so we can update our list.
Or, you may transfer your registration to a future workshop date (subject to availability).

Each workshop is thoughtfully planned with a limited number of spots, so this policy helps ensure those spaces are used and the experience stays consistent for everyone attending.

If the workshop needs to be cancelled or rescheduled, you’ll be offered a full refund or the option to join a future session.

Is the workshop you wanted to attend full?

If there are no spots available right now, don’t worry - you can join the waitlist!
If a space opens up, I’ll reach out, and you’ll also be first in line to hear about upcoming workshop dates.
